Molly Rose Hansen: Singer-Songwriter

Molly Rose Hansen was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She started singing as soon as she learned to talk, and began writing songs when she was seven. Molly continued songwriting for leisure through high school and at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where she studied Writing for the Screen and Stage. When the Covid-19 Pandemic hit the United States during her third year at UNC, Molly realized she wanted to follow her true passion: music. In the summer of 2020, she recorded her first EP of demos: “Honeybee,” and in 2022, one year after graduation, she made the big move to Nashville, Tennessee.

Since her move to Nashville, Molly has absorbed as much of music scene as possible, co-writing with incredibly talented musicians, learning to self-produce demos, performing at writers rounds, and meeting people in all avenues of the music industry. In March 2024, Molly released her debut single, “Isolated,” a vulnerable pop track that explores mental health the loneliness felt in a new city. “Isolated” is just one example of Molly’s ability to captivate listeners with honest, clever lyrics and beautiful, memorable melodies.
